Do YOU have what it takes to help the Ghost Pirate recover his old GOLD HAT?
In Gold Hat you will embark on a platforming adventure to help the Ghost Pirate retrieve his old treasure, by making some tricky maneuvers on top of his hat.

- To throw, you need to be on top of the Ghost Pirate
- If you die, keys reset on the map
- To open a door, just get close enough to it with a key
- The only way to reset level is to throw yourself off the map

This is my first game jam ever, as well as the second game I've ever worked on. It's not as polished as I wanted, and there was a lot I had planned and hat to cut, but I learned a lot, and was very happy with the experience. I hope you enjoy your time with it.

Fun! Only about 3 sections-ish, but a neat platformer where you must jump onto, off of, and return to a floating hat thrown by your ghost pirate friend.
Art style is great, nice use of palette and contrast. Very clean.
I also made it all the way to the end:) You almost made me jump off the hat, but not this time! I'm too stubborn.
Only complaint is maybe the music could change up at some point, or just make a slightly longer track. I did enjoy the casual feel of it though.
The enemy's tongue attack comes out pretty quick, it would be nice to see like.. 1-2 more frames of "mouth opening" animation so you can get ready and jump. It happens kind of instantly and I lost many coins on one section of the second or third puzzle.
